Obtaining / renewal / revocation

To obtain Signe’s digital certificate and obtain their eTítulo, the user must be a university graduate. The certificate links the person with a specific attribute or data. At Signe we apply this and link it to the eTítulo, the official qualification of the certificate holder.

With the eTítulo, you enjoy it from the first electronic certificate of academic qualifications

Renewal of the certificate

You can check the validity period of your certificate on the Certificate Properties menu of your browser.

Before your digital certificate expires, you should carry out the renewal process for it.
From the two months prior to the expiry date of your certificate, you can renew it without needing to attend any  registry office in person.  You just need to follow two simple steps:

  1. – Request the renewal in your university
  2. – Renew your certificate from the graduate portal.

Note: You will not be able to renew your certificate if it has already expired.

Revocation of the certificate

There are two processes for withdrawing your digital certificate.

On-line process

Through this link, ON LINE REVOCATION, you will be able to request the revocation of your certificate. To do so, follow these simple steps:

  • On the form provided, you should write the information that identifies you correctly.
  • Enter the Revocation Code provided during the process of generating your digital certificate.
  • Enter the reason for requesting the revocation.
  • Expressly accept the processing of the request and the consequences of it.

Once the process has been accepted, the certificate will be immediately withdrawn.

Telephone revocation.

To request the revocation of a certificate by telephone, contact us during working hours (8.30am to 6.30pm) on the following number

telefono 902 30 17 01

The subscriber must be able to identify themselves and authenticate their identity through the procedures that Signe deems appropriate.  Once the identification process has been carried out correctly, an operator from the Registry Authority will proceed with  the revocation.
